Ozark ADV Rides is a rider-built collection of resources for planning motorcycle trips throughout Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and the Ozarks. You’ll find route information, navigation tools, weather guidance, camping and lodging options, fuel and service directories, and everything else that makes a ride easier and more enjoyable.
GPX & Navigation
GPS navigation is one of the most useful tools for adventure riding.
Recommended routes and GPX downloads are available for key riding areas throughout Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Each route includes:
- GPX file download
- Route distance and estimated riding time
- Surface type and difficulty rating
- Fuel requirements and camping options
- Points of interest and important warnings

Motorcycle Maps
Paper maps are still valuable, especially when you’re riding in areas with limited cell service. A good physical map helps you understand the bigger picture when planning a multi-day adventure and serves as an important backup when electronics fail.

Weather
Ozark weather can change quickly. Before heading out, check the forecast for the entire route rather than just your starting point.
Pay particular attention to:
- Heavy rain
- Flash flooding
- Temperature changes
- Severe storms
- High summer temperatures
- Winter conditions
Gravel and forest roads can change dramatically after heavy rain. A road that was easy yesterday may be muddy, flooded, or impassable today.
Camping
Camping can turn a day ride into a real adventure. The Ozarks offer a wide variety of camping opportunities, including developed campgrounds, private campgrounds, and areas where dispersed camping is permitted.

Fuel planning becomes increasingly important when you’re riding remote forest and gravel roads. Route information identifies fuel stops and the distance between available services.

Adventure Riding Organizations & Events

The GOAT Rally in eastern Oklahoma has become an important destination for adventure riders in the region and is one of the key events on the Ozark calendar.
Ride Prepared
